Fine-she’s got a nice voice, but I just don’t need another disc of standards that have been done a million times before. Couldn’t there be some gimmick to make this release stand out from the myriad of other Great American Songbook releases by attractive women? How about singing the songs in Swahili, or with trained porpoises? SOMETHING! The sexist photo on the back doesn’t do the lady any favors, either.
