Pianist Craig Taborn goes solo on this disc. He features his own
compositions, if you call them that, as most of them seem to be
percussive musings or cascading ruminations. Some, like “Spirit Nard
Knock” are quite assertive, while others such as “Glossolalia” are
simply confusing. I keep wondering who buys these releases, but
obviously there must be a market for them. I guess…
